I’ve been meaning to write this for about two weeks now actually. I took the photos but never had the time to sit down and actually write the post but luckily I do today, so here we are. I’ve compiled a few favourite stuff I’ve been loving, most are beauty stuff and there’s some jewellery too.
1.Blistex Daily Conditioning Treatment
I’ve had this for a while now but have only started using it recently. I am not a fan of the whole glossy thing on my lips, in fact I rarely wear lip gloss, stick to stains or lipsticks. But I’ve been applying this before I go to bed and let me tell you, it’s amazing. I am a huge Vaseline fan but this is seriously taking it’s place. Not only does it help with chapped lips, and you actually feel it working, but it smells of the beach!!! It’s kind of a weird smell to explain but it’s sort of reminds me of sand and sunblock in a good way. The tub is a bit too tiny so it might be a bit messy if you’ve got long nails but it’s perfect for popping into a handbag pocket!
2. Redherring Rose Gold Watch
One of the perks of working at a huge store is that you get to pick up little stuff as soon as they go on sale. That’s what I did with this watch. It’s by Redherring, a brand at Debenhams and it’s such a pretty rose gold that I had to buy it. Also, it was at 70% off! I’ve got a couple of stuff in rose gold and have been looking for a matching watch for ages when I saw this go on sale and I just had to have it. The little butterflies are so cute and it’s not too huge so perfect for my tiny wrist.
3. Beauty Formulas Rejuvenating Glorious Mud Deep Cleansing Facial Mask
Wow, that’s a mouthful. I got this face mask from the health shop at my University just because I felt like getting a face mask and it was quite cheap. I honestly never buy any beauty product unless I read about it like my life depends on it. I think I research stuff like that more than I research anything else. I am just very careful with what I put on my face. But I felt like being a ‘rebel’ and got this. I honestly thought it would not really make much different. But boy-oh-boy wasn’t I wrong! It’s actually very deep cleansing yet not too harsh on my skin and doesn’t clamp up on my face making it difficult to take off. I honestly have been using this once a week for over a month now and I see cleaner skin every time I use it. It’s not really a well-known brand but it works for me and I think that’s the most important.
4. KIKO Lipstick – Number 43
If you’ve been anywhere in Italy you’ve probably heard of this brand. It’s an Italian brand of high street make-up. Locally we have Inglot and WjCon, which are both similar. I got this on a trip to Venice and I’ve been loving it ever since. I’ve been looking for a pink lipstick for ages. It’s pinker than it came out in the picture, an almost baby pink, and it’s just lovely on the lips. It’s also very moisturising which I love and the packaging looks so posh (when it really only cost a few Euro). The only thing I hate is that it only has a number, no name. I love make-up names as their usually so witty and cool. Other than that…I LOVE!
That’s it folks! Have a great weekend,
